Here's a police department who will twist your words to blame you for others. Called about the off ramp and how the DOT did a half @$$ job and you've been almost hit countless times. So you call to see if an officer can find their way to police the problem. First the officer I spoke with tries to justify why they shouldn't have too! Then label you a bully after you state you now feel your safety doesn't mean anything to him. I'm sorry what 3 words are on the side of most patrol cars? Serve and protect. Not who and where he wants! I understand small town and few resources but the state patrol and Jefferson County can have speed traps on 26 (seen 8 officers one time) why can't JCPD ask them to help? Nope it's me being a bully. Seems like the officer was just lazy or the bully. I want a government job so I can treat others like I'm above them! Just sad when the public reaches out for help and they are made to feel as if they are worse than the drivers putting others into danger. Pricks behind tin nothing more here. Do your job and not find reason not too.
